I ordered a bed and mattress from this company on 30th August, due to deliver on 19th September. I deliberately left enough time as I was due to move into my new place on that date. On 17th, TWO DAYS before I was due to move in, I received a casual email telling me my delivery was delayed until 9th December! No one bothered to respond to my email so I called them. Not only do I now have no bed when I am 5 months pregnant but the level of arrogance in telling me via a chatty email and incompetence in telling me two days before is just unacceptable. The woman on the phone was admittedly very nice and called the supplier but they then offered me another bed for a HIGHER PRICE and refused to give me more than a £30 discount! And this was after a 10 minute chat with her manager who refused to talk to me. I would have expected a free bed to compensate at this point. I am still waiting for a refund, which, if I do not get within a week, I will be traveling to their centre to demand in person! Just unbelievably poor service. Do not buy from this company.

Ordered 4 pieces of furniture on 25th April, was told on 11th May was in stock ready for delivery, unfortunately house sale was delayed due to covid....was told no problem we can hold it. Received another email saying it was now out of stock so clearly they gave my order to someone else....well I'm still waiting on the order. Was given a delivery day for today, had a text with a timeslot and now just received a text saying it's cancelled. 5 months is a bit excessive for waiting for delivery pandemic or no pandemic. Funny how you can order for delivery on their website for 1 week delivery!!

Shocking service

Shocking service. Don’t buy a bed online. They do not offer the sleep guarantee if you do. We are now stuck with a mattress we can’t sleep on and never got to try in store. We bought our previous mattress from them with the same name and materials expecting the same comfort. The new mattress is nothing like the previous one but looks identical. No sympathy at from the Head Office customer service manager. You would expect even more reason to offer the guarantee when bought online. I will certainly tell all my friends who like to shop with local retailers not to use Archers.

great products and fantastic…

great products and fantastic communication. both items arrived on time , well packaged and delivery men were polite and well dressed. bed was easy to put together and solid , mattress is very comfortable.

Prompt delivery; really helpful

Really helpful chap when I called to ask about delivery lead time for a bed. Prompt confirmation once I’d placed the order, and very soon after that confirmation from the delivery company confirming my delivery day. Couldn’t fault the communications from the various parties involved in the process, and I now have a lovely new bed ☺️

We have received excellent service!

We have revived excellent service from this company and cannot fault them in any way. We ordered a new divan base over the Christmas/ Boxing Day period. From the moment we ordered, and delivery was booked, we were kept informed of delivery times and were able to track our item. When our item was delivered, as scheduled, unfortunately one of the drawers was damaged. I took photos and sent them to the customer service team who, without quibble, scheduled for a new drawer to be sent out which was received, again as scheduled, just a few days later. Great customer service!! Very satisfied customer. :-)

Excellent Service

Not quite sure what all the bad reviews are about. I ordered my bed late Thursday night and paid for Saturday delivery. Had confirmation that it was with the courier Friday. Unfortunately it wasn’t delivered on the Saturday because the courier decided not to deliver it (not archers sleep centres fault) I rang on Sunday to say it hadn’t arrived and was refunded the Saturday delivery charge and they kindly changed the delivery address so I could have it delivered on the Monday. Overall impressed with the service! I run a online company and know how hard demand and supply is at the moment and can honestly say they have handled this situation perfectly. Thank you for sorting us out and getting our bed to us before Christmas!

Is this company a scam?!

I ordered the Casablanca desk in September and still don’t have it. There was a two week wait when ordering which I accepted. They got in touch a few weeks later and arranged delivery, it did not arrive. I wasn’t overly annoyed as I work from home anyway so hadn’t had to wait in all day and just thought it was an error. I’ve now just had a text from the courier to say it hasn’t arrived in time again for my SIXTH delivery attempt! I spoke with David yesterday who I really thought understood how bad this service was and guaranteed it would arrive today (even using the phrase no questions asked it will be there) As soon as their lines open at 9 I will be cancelling my order. The only reason I haven’t already is because I really wanted THAT desk!!

Where is my new bed ????

Where is my new bed????Was scheduled for delivery yesterday (08/10/20) courier text'd night before with time slot, text me on delivery day @ 09:51 order delayed.The delivery company tracking site (Panther Logistics) states is hasn't been dispatched by ArchersNeed answers.Not happy as wasted a day or my and my customers time as re-scheduled some of my customer bookings to facilitate a non show item which they have received payment for and given me a delivery date and time for.Wish I had read the reviews first. have contacted them via their website contact for but not holding out any hope of a positive response.Will give them a chance to sort it over the next few days otherwise will be onto my Credit Card Company to make a Section 75 Claim for not supplying the goods as ordered and in the time stated by them. Not comfortable sleeping on a mattress on the floor and getting up and down to it when you have knee and joint issues (Osteoporosis & Osteoarthritis). (my old bed frame was dismantled and taken away on the morning of the scheduled delivery).Not a Happy Veteran !!Will update accordingly with any developments.UPDATE 1Had the below reply from archers"Please accept our apologies for the non-delivery of your order and the inconvenience this has caused.I have looked into this for you and unfortunately the suppliers systems have been down all week and they have been unable to process the orders and dispatch the goods. The suppliers have confirmed the issues will be corrected and will be back up and running for dispatch Monday 12.10.2020 and we can re-book delivery from Tuesday onwards.Please let me know what day would suit best for delivery and I will book this for you."So my order was never dispatched, yet they still had me waiting in all day for a non existent delivery, they could have easily emailed or called (they had all my contact information) to tell me this before wasting mine and my customers time. Perhaps i should send them an invoice for my daily rate £145 (The day of work i wasted)Emailed them (also copied in the MD) to say i wasn't happy, explaining my situation and had no confidence in them supplying the bed or honoring their delivery promises. I requested a full refund and stated if it wasn't forthcoming then i would make a claim via my card provider under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.My refund was swiftly credited to my card.My honest advise is AVOID !!!! If I could give zero stars I would.If you purchase online always use your CC as you have more protection and always do research on who you are conducting business with.UPDATE 2It would seem Archers don't like negative feedback as they tried to get my review removed as they never believed it was a true experience of their abysmal service. Needless to say i provided the necessary documents to Trustpilot and my review stands.

Poor communication and no delivery

Poor communication and no delivery on the day. So now sitting in a flat without a bed waiting for the next delivery date to see it it turns up then

Confused ??…

I hate to have to write a bad review however I am so angry . Ordered a bed frame online no problem easy to do chose a delivery date then the problem begins waiting all day didn't arrive no contact to inform us what was happening. We contacted archers and was told to ring delivery company who are impossible to contact . We look at reviews for delivery company and they disgusting . We just don't know what to do are we expected to stay in the house waiting for a delivery this could be days,weeks,months. This is totally terrible WHY??? do archers use this company ????

Ordering my new bed online was so easy

Ordering my new bed online was so easy, the website was perfect and I was able to find what I needed very quickly and at a good price. When the bed arrived it was exactly as described and it is so comfy. I've used Archers sleepcentre before and have no hesitation in recommending them.
